This company is a diversified travel conglomerate in the Travel Industry for over 25 years.

OVERVIEW

The Vice President is accountable for the overall development and performance of a Call Center Operation that has not opened as of this date. This position will oversee a Supervisory Team and overall group of 500+ stations. This facility will be located just outside of the city. Unique to this Search is that our organization (P. Jason King Associates, Inc.) also has exclusive contracts to fill additional management team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Architectural Team, Technology and IT staffing to insure that this facility has the capabilities to handle the state-of-the-art technology improvements and design to function at top performance. Center's anticipated opening date will be mid-2008.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years call center operations (preferable high volume)
  • Strategic ability to effectively work with high level teams
  • Strong familiarity with Corporate Travel Clients' needs
  • Expertise in follow-up procedures & Customer Services
  • Call Center Technology
  • Crating departmental budgets
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills


REPORTING

Reports directly to Senior Vice President Operations.

EDUCATION

The preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from a four year College or University; or 15+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience in the travel industry business.

  • Eight (8) hours or more a day of sitting; walking; standing; bending; answering the telephone; entering data into the computer; retrieving data from the computer or analyzing data from reports.
  • This position may require overnight travel up to 40% (including travel by car and by airplane).
  • Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to fly on an airplane.
