OVERVIEW
A billion dollar conglomerate which provides services to the Leisure/Vacation
Market, which is not known by a branded name. Company owns single and
multiple locations throughout the US. Goal is to launch a new name and
logo and launch a major marketing campaign once all operations are in
line.
THE ROLE
The role of the COO is to provide strong direction for company's operations
located throughout the US, as well as overseas. Must have strong experience
in strategic planning short and long term and have the "know how"
to get things done and done correctly. Will additionally be responsible
for multiple call centers located throughout the US.
EDUCATION
The preferred candidate will hold an MBA: or 15+ years of related experience
and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
The preferred candidate has noteworthy experience in the following areas:
• Working in a similar position within the travel industry or
related industries
• Proven track record in providing its clientele with the best of services.
• Business acumen (business knowledge, competitor awareness, organization
strategies).
• Strong delegation and motivation
• Must have flexibility to travel.

While performing this job,
it will require:
• Eight (8)
hours or more a day of sitting; walking; standing; bending; answering
the telephone; entering data into the computer; retrieving data from
the computer or analyzing data from reports.
• This position may require overnight travel up to 40% (including travel
by car and by airplane).
• Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to fly on an airplane.
