OVERVIEW
Travel Management Company
THE ROLE
To manage existing Operations Department including Leisure, Corporate,
Group, and Incentive Travel. Direct supervisor of 4 department managers,
18 supervisors, and indirectly 125 staff (including support personnel).
Must maintain office systems and procedures while developing new and
creative ways of conducting business.
EDUCATION
The preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from
a four year college or university; or 7-10 years of related experience
and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
• Working in a similar position within the travel industry or
related industries.
• Minimum of 7+ years experience in operations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate high level of activities under a variety
of conditions and constraints.
• Business acumen (business knowledge, competitor awareness, organization
strategies)

While performing this job, it will require:
• Eight (8) hours or more a day of sitting; walking; standing;
bending; answering the telephone; entering data into the computer; retrieving
data from the computer or analyzing data from reports.
• This position may require overnight travel up to 10% (including
travel by car and by airplane).
• Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to fly on an
airplane.
