OVERVIEW
Company is well known as a major Tour Operator in the USA. This position
is new since the office is new. Director will manage upwards of 40 people
to include a call center environment. Company prefers an American who
will make a two (2) year commitment. After 2 years will return to US
and will assume a VP/General Manager position since current employee
will be retiring in two years.
THE ROLE
To Direct a Call Center currently with upwards of 40 people. Responsibilities
include direct supervision, hiring and training personnel, review of
all personnel, promotions and terminations. Must be flexible to adapt
to UK systems & procedures. Will meet with peers 4x per year to
discuss general operation techniques and new policies.
EDUCATION
The preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from
a four year college or university; or 5-10 years of related experience
and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
• Working in a similar position within the travel industry or
related industries.
• MUST make a 2 year commitment to say in London, England.
• Minimum of 5-7+ years experience in operations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate high level of activities under a variety
of conditions and constraints.
• Business acumen (business knowledge, competitor awareness, organization
strategies)

• Eight (8) hours or more a day of sitting; walking; standing; bending;
answering the telephone; entering data into the computer; retrieving data
from the computer or analyzing data from reports.
• This position may require overnight travel up to 10% (including
travel by car and by airplane).
• Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to fly on an
airplane.
