OVERVIEW
This position is NOT a Sales Rep position with a fancy title. You will be managing a regional
group of Account Executives and be required to sell as well to specific hi-end accounts.
Must have had at least 7 years Supervisory experience. Territory includes Los Angeles Downtown and
Orange County. Other territory includes New York City, the Boroughs, upstate, and northern New Jersey.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Research and execute a Sales Plan that will encompass current client base as well as aggressively target new accounts. Conduct sales meetings with account executives on a regular basis to insure that they are meeting their specific goals.

Direct the sales team in proper systems and procedures and insure follow up techniques.
-
Interview, hire, and train additional staffing as required to meet performance goals.
-
Call on larger and most prestigious accounts.
-
Develop sales budgets within company guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Maximum of 25 years experience, 7 years in a management role.
-
Minimum 7-10 years outside sales experience in a travel company, preferably a Travel Management Company.
-
Must feel comfortable talking with Fortune 500 Corporation Executives.
-
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
-
Skill in math, attention to detail, strong PC skills.
-
Organized and analytical.
-
Willingness to follow procedures.
-
High degree of honesty, and integrity.
-
Travel Industry experience.
REPORTING
Report to the Executive Vice President.

EDUCATION
The preferred candidate will hold a BA or a BS in Business from a four year College or University. Company will accept non degreed candidates as long as their travel industry background exceeds minimum requirements.

performing this job, it will require:

Eight (8) hours
or more a day of sitting; walking; standing; bending; answering the
telephone; entering data into the computer; retrieving data from the
computer or analyzing data from reports.

This position
may require overnight travel up to 40% (including travel by car and
by airplane).

Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to
fly on commercial airplanes and private corporate aircraft.
